I am so happy to be back using this as a creative outlet for my adhd brain that never wants to turn off. Thankful for those who followed my Sommadelic Wine Blog page back in 2018, but I’ve decided to come back and be better than ever and hopefully form a following with The Cork Coven. I know I could show face on Instagram Reels and yap y’all’s ears off about witchy wine things, but I think I like the feeling of writing. Maybe I’ll switch it up and try to do both sometimes ya never know. I can be full of surprises.

Well life really lifed at me pretty damn hard the past 5 years and I’m ready to get to sharing my love for wine, food, and all things witchy with y’all again. I’m back in my hometown of Lexington, KY and very happy in my cozy house that I am continuously trying to turn into my very own Practical Magic oasis with maybe a touch of maximalism decor that I share with my curmudgeny 15 year old beagle Ollie. I have switched gears a little bit since being home and have transitioned to Real Estate as well as helping my friend at her gorgeous, and beautifully curated, boutique wine <and plant> shop. Most all of the wines I talk about and share on this journey will come from her shop unless I open some goodies that I have brought back from my travels. Will always and forever support women supporting other women.

Kitchen witchery wise I love putting intention into what I am eating and drinking. I am a huge fan of savory girl dinners, 3-5 ingredient protein packed meals, gorgeous salads with lots of toppings, or anything that I can pop in my Airfryer and you better believe I’ll always wash it down with a glass or 3 of wine 🙂 I’m so glad to be back and I have tons of ideas that I want to share with y’all >>> some posts may be short and sweet while others are long winded, but regardless I’m ready if you are! Food will always be incorporated hopefully but I’m also thinking Tarot card pulls, Astrology/Co-Star vibes, thriller books + horror movie parings, and some kitchen witchery wine aromas + their witchy properties to give you a sneak peak of what’s on my list of ideas.
